The Gherkin officially the Swiss Re Tower is one of the most distinctive buildings on the London landscape. Designed by Sir Norman Foster and Ken Shuttleworth is one of the most radical buildings in London.

This is the best thing that has happened to London transport in twenty years. This card loaded with a months travel will get me as far east as Greenwich (anywhere in zone 1 & 2) by tube, bus, or rail. I can even get a discount on transport down the Thames.
You just touch it to an Oyster plate and you are off.

Really, our country could use a lesson on public transportation. We have always been impressed how one can get around on the tube.
So no comment so far on English "fair" (food)
