Rugby World Cup

Last night a great party was held at the hotel for the Rugby World Cup final between England and South Africa. The whole country was transfixed by this game as the English team came back from near oblivion to get to this final game. However, South Africa won. As all the reception staff are from South Africa, they were extraordinarily pleased with the result.

The heads of the gentlemen above have now been put on spikes on London Bridge.
It's an English thing.

I was in Soho on a night in 1961 when the Tottenham Hotspurs won the BIg One.

We appraoched the Men's Room at the Picadilly Tube Station at about eleven in the evening.

At first, we couldn;t quite understand what was pouring across and down the tiled floors outside the loo, rushing towards us. It couldn't be...

INside what we saw was unforgettable. Not only men lined 20 and 30 deep waiting to piss in the urinals, but men piled 20 and 30 deep waiting to piss on the walls, the floor and each other.

Yea, Tottenham! Go, Spurs. We'll have another smash here, darling!

watched the match here in Vancouver and it was a great team effort by the English boys, a little more luck would have seen us win it for the second time in succession! However it was not to be and well played South Africa! Roll on 2011!
