The Eagle has Landed

I arrived in London Yesterday afternoon and I'm getting settled into my hotel room, and I mean room. It would be slightly larger than a berth on the Bounty, but like Bounty it has a garden on board, just out the back door. The back door is about eight feet from the front door. It's tiny but it's home.

Looks cozy!

Say . . . who's that in the photo on the side of the bed? :-)

Hope you're loving London!

Oldest vaudeville gag in the books:

My hotel room was really, really small!

Yes? How small was it?

It was so small I had to go out into the hallway to CHANGE MY MIND!

The Plear Suite looks ever so loverly! Where's the bar? It's foggy and rainy here - looks beautiful over there. Hope all goes well.

Chris, thanks for asking about the bar. If you look closely at one of the photos of my room you will see two wine glasses on the tiny shelf above my pillows. That's it.

Almost everything in England is tiny.

THAT WILL NEVER DO!! A TEENY TINY BAR IN A TEENY TINY HOTEL ROOM! PLEASE IF THE DIVINE POWER IS IN HIS HEAVEN, THERE MUST BE A TRUE BAR JUST OUT THE DOOR AND DOWN THE STREET! I KNOW YOU SCOTT - YOU WOULD NEVER HAVE SCOPED OUT THIS HOTEL IF THERE WASN'T A COMFORTABLE WATERING HOLE CLOSE BY. THE PICS ARE FABULOUS DARLING - KEEP THEM COMIN! CAN'T WAIT TO SEE MORE. TAKE CARE.
