I have known Doug Bentham for thirty years. I first met him at the Emma Lake Artists' Workshop in 1977 attended by Anthony Caro. Doug attended a similar workshop here in England several years ago at Hardingham. Before returning the work to Canada he decided to shop the work at APT in Deptford.
