These officers are from a Guards Division. Regretablly I do not know whether they were from the Grenadier Guards, Coldstream Guards, or even a Household Division.

I do have some video for this posting. Blogger is having some technical problems posting video at the moment, but I will post it as soon as possible.

Well, whose-ever guards those are they are fine fellows!
What an experience to be in London for Remembrance Day -- very special.
Thought I might be of help here. The Five Regiment Of Foot Guards are all part of the Household Division...
A few things to look for when Guards spotting is the Plumes on the side of the Bearskin, the button arrangement on their tunics and the Collar emblem.
Grenadears - Whitle Plume on their Left. Buttons in 1s. Grenade on collar.
Coldstream - Red Plume on their Right. Buttons in 2s. Garter Star on collar.
Scots - No Plume (These are the Guards in your photo) Buttons in 3s. Thistle on collar.
Irish - Blue Plume on their Right. Buttons in 4s. Shamrock on collar.
Welsh - White-Green-White Plume. Buttons in 5s. Leek on collar.
Hope this has been of some help
